A good friend asked me yesterday if I have made a resolution for the coming year. It really wasn't hard to come up with an answer.

I want to recapture a passion for life beyond work, and renew the belief that government can be about more than covering your ass; specifically it can make life better for its citizens.

I believe it can happen... I believe it can happen... If only I had some ruby red slippers to help move the process along!
